It all started when…
In 2011, I started a solo practice. After a year of working on my own, I reconnected with a former student who was looking for supervision and office space.
I was able to give her some of the referrals I was unable to see and she was able to get hours toward her license. It was a win/win situation.
In the years that followed, we opened offices all over the city and suburbs. We have continued to grow and we’ve learned a lot about running a practice.
In 2023 we began a collaboration with Lalique Petersen, MHA, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, from the Malcolm X College Billing Coding and Healthcare Technology program to connect young professionals with opportunities in healthcare billing and coding.
Through this program we are able to provide support and resources to practices for affordable rates.
We’ve taken some risks and made some mistakes, but through that process we’ve figured out how to grow and operate a business in a way that feels good and works.
We’re thrilled to be able to share our experiences and help you develop your practice.
