Self-awareness helps us to maintain a sound relationship with ourselves and the people closest to us. It broadens the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Finding the courage to look inward is where the healing process begins. Through self-understanding we can grow and learn to make meaning of our experiences.

My goal as your therapist is to be a companion on your journey through self-discovery. Leading with authenticity, I provide a refuge for my clients to feel safe, heard, and understood. I seek to be gentle, constructive, and straightforward. As a multiracial woman, I welcome the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people from all backgrounds.

I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I provide therapeutic services to adult individuals and couples using an integrative framework incorporating psychodynamic, multicultural feminist, and existential theories. I approach therapy from a holistic view and consider the whole person (i.e. mind, body, spirit) when providing care. My areas of focus are trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and identity crises. I have a special interest in working with adults who experienced childhood parentification and are seeking to learn self-advocacy, to uncover their authentic self, and to identify unmet needs sacrificed during childhood. I am also passionate about female empowerment and helping women to define their self-image beyond the constraints of societal norms.

I am looking forward to hearing your story and supporting you on your journey towards change.
