Sydney McClure, AMFT

Life can be messy, change can be unnerving, and asking for help is not always easy. However, you are not alone in your journey. Together we can re-engage connections with ourselves and those we care about. I have found joy in working with BIPOC adolescents, individuals, and couples with a wide variety of relationship and mental health concerns. I have experience working with diverse sexualities, relationship structures, and belief systems.

During our sessions, we will take an expansive view of your experiences, identify strengths and areas for growth, and chart a path that cultivates healing and fulfillment. Together, we can unlearn what is no longer serving you and help you reclaim your peace.

We might be a good match if you’re seeking a goal-oriented therapist who is honest, direct, and who appreciates a bit of humor. We are a great match if you have a general goal for therapy and are ready to lean into any challenges that come with striving for that change. I work best with clients who want better for themselves and the people around them, and are ready for honest self-reflection. I’ll offer you a space that’s judgment-free but not accountability-free. You don’t have to have it all together—just a willingness to show up and do the work.

Types of therapy I incorporate into our work:

  • Attachment

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Narrative, Mindfulness

  • Sex Therapy

  • Trauma Focused
