Life transitions and relationship stressors can often leave us feeling overwhelmed, isolated, hopeless, stuck, and disconnected from ourselves and our partner(s). However, you do not have to face these adversities alone because I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. I am so glad that you are here!
As a relational therapist, I aim to create a collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, understood, and affirmed. I am committed to understanding how your experiences, both past and present as well as your cultural context have informed who you are today. Together, we will explore patterns that are no longer serving you with curiosity in an effort to create more adaptive cycles of interactions and healthier ways to express yourself. My integrative and evidence-based approach to therapy is both direct and empathic. I will encourage you to identify your personal strengths so that you can use them to move toward reaching your goals, while also challenging you to take responsibility for the change you want to see in your life.
While I work with a variety of clients who present with a wide range of concerns, my background as a Certified Sex Therapist equips me with the tools necessary to help clients address sexual problems such as desire discrepancy, diminished or low libido, sexual shame, and sex and disability. In addition to supporting clients addressing sexual issues, I am passionate about helping clients navigate the joys and difficulties associated with dating. As an immigrant, I enjoy helping multicultural couples navigate communication issues, bridge the gap between differing cultural norms, and relationship expectations.
I look forward to collaborating with you!
