Meet richard park, amft
Hello, my name is Richard. I have had the great opportunity in my role as a therapist to work with those facing complex emotions, repeating family conflicts, and shifting relationships. I believe we all have the ability to grow and redirect our lives, but reach points where we feel exhausted and lost. I dedicate myself to cultivating an environment and alliance where self-reflection, change, and acceptance can happen in a collaborative and organic way.
My training in family systems has been a terrific and relateable way to connect with people facing all types of issues. Whether you're feeling depressed and anxious, having a relationship falter, or difficulty in a new phase, I can bring my insight, and collaborate with you to bring forth change.
I empathize with feeling stuck, frustrated, and at times hopeless. I also understand that finding the right therapist is an important and sensitive process. I'd love to have a chance to talk with you, and begin fostering a relationship towards lasting happiness.
I am a native of the Chicago area and also speak Korean. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my band and going to shows. I am LGBTQIA affirming, and welcome diversity.
Richard currently sees clients at our South Loop location. He can be reached by phone at (847) 220-4390.
